Coach Laurel Lyngklip
Laurel Lyngklip came to rowing in the winter of 2019 after joining the University of Chicago Crew Club, where she fell in love with both the sport and its incredible community. In addition to rowing all four years of college and sculling in the summers, she began coaching learn-to-row with Lincoln Park Boat Club (LPBC) in 2021. Between LPBC and Riverfront Recapture in 2022, Laurel has coached all ages, from juniors through masters. Laurel hopes to make the learn-to-row experience an inclusive environment, meeting athletes where they are, and working as a team to build technique, fitness, and confidence.
