Vendor terms and conditions / head of the housatonic

Please note: this information will be updated closer to the regatta. The following are only basic guidelines from 2018.

Vendor Space:
Vendor spaces are in the heavily trafficked beachfront area. The standard size is 10 x 20 ft. The price is $400 per space. Vendors purchasing space may also include their logo on the home page of the Head of the Housatonic website at no charge.

Spaces are assigned on a first come, first served basis. The CT DEEP limits us to ten vendors at the regatta.

We do not provide tents, chairs, tables, or electricity. If you have any questions or special needs in this regard, please email nhrcregattas@gmail.com.

The deadline for applications is September 21, 2018. Payment, proof of insurance, company logo, and website address must be received by September 21, 2018. Send logo and website address by email to nhrcregattas@gmail.com.

Refunds for cancellations will be granted only if the space is re-sold. Instructions and parking pass will be emailed by September 28, 2018.

Vendor set-up hours are on Friday, from noon to 6:00 pm, and on Saturday from 5:30 am to 8:30 am. Overnight security is provided Friday night. Sunrise on October 6 is at 6:56 am, so please make sure you have a flashlight or headlamp if you are setting up before dawn on Saturday.

Vendor breakdown must be completed on Saturday by 5:00 pm after the regatta. A $50 fee will be charged if NHRC needs to clean up your area after the event.

Website Advertising: Vendors who do not purchase space at the regatta may advertise on the Head of the Housatonic website for a fee of $50. Vendor logos linked to their websites will be placed on the Head of the Housatonic home page upon receipt of payment and logo.
